We bring together a diverse and highly-skilled team offering a range of environmental services to suit your project. We can undertake pre-development surveys in a range of specialist fields; prepare project approval documents and guide you through the approvals process; prepare environmental management plans; undertake compliance checks against approval documentation; provide ongoing environmental services and advice, and help your organisation to access funding for environmental restoration activities.
TEF has expertise in a wide range of ecological survey and assessment in both terrestrial and aquatic environments. We are well versed in the requirements of the State and Commonwealth threatened species legislation, and have applied our experience to a diverse range of projects from ecological monitoring, major infrastructure projects, municipal projects (water, sewerage and recycled water), to urban development (subdivisions and rezoning), in order to define the constraints and opportunities inherent within any proposal. TEF has the capacity to work through each development or stage of a project, from the conception phase, to construction, commissioning and project finalisation, and we consistently deliver outcomes with integrity and rigour to satisfy regulatory bodies. TEF has proven experience in terrestrial and aquatic ecological surveys and assessment using a range of biodiversity survey techniques, application of the Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) and preparation of Biodiversity Development Assessment Reports (BDARs), clearance surveys, management plans, constraints and opportunities assessments, desktop analyses, targeted threatened flora and fauna survey and assessment, ecological monitoring and GIS guided habitat and vegetation mapping. TEF has a proven ability to work in extreme and remote areas, in any part of Australia.
To assist with successful project delivery, TEF also offers a range of environmental compliance and review services. Our capabilities in this area range from conducting brief site inspections to verify compliance with approval documentation, through to the provision of a qualified fauna spotter-catcher for pre-clearance surveys, or provision of an Independent Environmental Management Representative (EMR), and/or legislative review services.
